These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of MemeDrop on the website at memedrop.fun and in our Android mobile application (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by MemeDrop ("we", "us", "our"). For questions about these Terms, contact us at support@memedrop.fun.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian. You may not use the Service if you have been banned or suspended by us.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your profile information up to date.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account to evade bans or manipulate the platform.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm other users or the Service.

4. User content

You may post captions, images, videos, comments, and other material ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it solely to operate and promote the Service (including showing posts to followers and on public share links where enabled).

You agree that your User Content:

  • Is yours to share, or you have the rights and permissions to post it;
  • Does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
  • Is not illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, threatening, or spam;
  • Does not contain malware or attempts to phish or scam others.

We may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion, without notice, when we believe content or behaviour violates these Terms or applicable law.

5. Public posts and sharing

Some posts may be viewable via shareable links without logging in. Do not post anything you are not comfortable being seen publicly. You are responsible for what you choose to share.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service;
  • Use bots or automated means to create accounts, likes, or follows;
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • Collect personal data of other users without consent;
  • Circumvent security, bans, or moderation.

7. Advertising and analytics

The mobile app may show third-party advertisements (such as Google AdMob). The Service uses analytics (such as Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics) to understand usage and improve the product. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we may send alerts about new content from accounts you follow. You can disable notifications in your device settings.

9. Intellectual property

The MemeDrop name, branding, and software are ours or our licensors'. You may not copy or use our branding without permission. Other trademarks belong to their owners.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. User Content is the responsibility of the person who posted it, not MemeDrop.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £100, if you have not paid us anything.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (content licences already granted, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive termination.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may require you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and MemeDrop regarding the Service.
